Raju Ahamed — SEO Consultant & Digital Marketer

I help businesses get found by the people already searching for them — through technical and on-page SEO, Google Ads and PPC, and the newer side of search where AI assistants decide which brands get mentioned. Every recommendation comes from data in Search Console, GA4 and your ad accounts rather than guesswork. And you work with me directly, not through an account manager.

A consultant, not an agency

Who I am

I’m Raju Ahamed, an SEO consultant and digital marketer. I’ve spent the last five years helping business owners turn search into a dependable source of customers — some of them local service businesses, others selling across borders.

What I actually do

I work out why a website isn’t earning the traffic or the enquiries it should, and then I fix it. Sometimes the answer is technical — crawling problems, slow pages, a site structure search engines struggle to read. Sometimes it’s content and relevance. Very often it’s tracking, because a surprising number of businesses are making decisions from numbers that were never set up correctly in the first place.

How I report

The part I care most about is that you understand what’s happening. I don’t hand over a dashboard full of figures that look impressive and explain nothing. You’ll know what changed, why it changed, and what it did.

Who you're hiring

When you hire me, I’m the person doing the work. There’s no team to brief, no account manager in the middle, and nobody learning on your budget.

What I can help you with

SEO Consulting

Strategy and direction for the whole search channel, starting with an audit rather than a package.

Technical SEO

Crawling, indexing, site speed and structure — the foundations that decide whether the rest of the work can succeed.

On-Page SEO

Keyword mapping, content structure, internal linking and metadata on the pages that matter most.

Local SEO

Google Business Profile, citations, local landing pages and the signals behind map pack visibility.

Ecommerce SEO

Category and product page structure, faceted navigation and crawl budget for stores with real catalogues.

Google Ads / PPC

Campaign structure, keyword and negative-keyword strategy, and the conversion tracking that has to exist first.

AI Search / AEO / GEO

How your business is represented to AI assistants and answer engines, so you appear inside the answer.

GA4 & GTM

Analytics and Tag Manager configured properly, so your reporting reflects what actually happened.

My process

01

Free Audit & Discovery

I analyse your current digital presence, your competitors and the realistic opportunities — before either of us commits to anything.

02

Custom Strategy

A strategy built around your business goals, your audience and the budget you actually have to work with — not a template.

03

Execute & Optimize

I implement the work and keep optimising as the data comes in, rather than setting it live and walking away.

04

Report & Scale

We measure what happened, separate what worked from what didn’t, and put more weight behind the things that are working.

ECOMMERCE SEO · SINGAPORE

The Tea Story

Challenge

The brand name already ranked. The phrases people type when they want to buy tea in Singapore did not.

What I worked on

Website audit, competitor analysis, location-based targeting, on-page fixes, technical SEO, content gap analysis and a quality-first backlink process.

Result

Four of the five target keywords at position 1 after three months. 1,213 organic visits a month (Ahrefs).

ECOMMERCE SEO · UNITED KINGDOM

Cimalp

Challenge

A large catalogue and very little of it being found — thin product pages, category pages competing with each other, and nothing linking to either.

What I worked on

Twelve months of product-level work: product and keyword research, product and category on-page SEO, crawling and indexing, page speed, product schema, and a structured link-building programme.

Result

12.2K clicks and 2.1M impressions in Search Console. 2,717 organic keywords (SEMrush).

The Children’s Place

Challenge

One category page competing for a head keyword against Claire’s, Kohl’s, Aeropostale and H&M — retailers with the same budget and more history on the term.

What I worked on

On-page SEO, technical SEO and page speed on that one page, plus keyword and competitor rechecks, high-quality backlinks and weekly reporting. No rebuild.

Result

Position 8 for “sunglasses for girls” (Google SERP). 274 organic visits a month (SEMrush).

Big Bang Cleaning Services

Challenge

A young domain that needed to show up when someone two suburbs away searches for the job today — not a twelve-month content plan.

What I worked on

Local keyword research across the Orlando and wider Florida cleaning terms, SEO audit, on-page and technical SEO, page speed optimisation and high-quality backlinks.

Result

Position 6 for “Cleaning Service in Florida” (Google SERP). 111 organic visits a month (SEMrush).

Why work with me directly

Agencies work for plenty of businesses. But if you’d rather not explain your business twice — once to a salesperson and again to whoever ends up doing the work — here’s what working with me looks like instead.

Direct communication

You talk to the person doing the work. No account manager relaying messages in either direction.

Hands-on involvement

I do the audits, write the recommendations and make the changes myself.

Transparent reporting

You see what was done and what it changed, in language that means something.

Personalised strategy

Built around your goals, your market and your budget rather than a fixed package.

AI-powered SEO and GEO approach

I work on how your business appears in AI assistants and answer engines, not only in classic search results.

International campaign experience

I’ve worked with businesses selling beyond their own country, where search behaviour and competition differ by market.

Direct campaign optimisation

Changes to your ad accounts are made and reviewed by me, not queued behind someone else’s workload.

Questions I get asked a lot

An SEO specialist works on the reasons a website does or doesn’t appear in search results. In practice that’s three things: making sure search engines can crawl and understand your site, making sure your pages genuinely answer what people are searching for, and making sure the outcome is measurable. It’s closer to diagnosis and repair than to advertising.

It depends on the current state of the site, how competitive your market is, and how much can realistically be changed. Technical fixes can show up within weeks. Content and authority work usually takes months. Anyone who promises you a fixed timeline before looking at your site is guessing — I’d rather tell you what I find in the audit first.

Google Ads buys visibility: you pay per click, and the traffic stops when the budget stops. SEO earns visibility: it takes longer to build, but it doesn’t disappear when you stop paying. They solve different problems, and for a lot of businesses running both makes sense — Ads bringing enquiries in now while SEO builds underneath it.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) are about being visible where AI assistants answer questions instead of listing links. When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI results about your kind of business, something decides which brands get mentioned in that answer. The work overlaps with SEO but isn’t identical to it.

Yes. I’ve worked with businesses outside my own country, including campaigns aimed at other markets. Search behaviour, competition and cost per click differ from market to market, so a campaign is built for the market it’s actually targeting rather than copied across from another one.

Management fees depend on the size of the account, how many campaigns are running and how much ongoing optimisation it needs — so I quote after looking at the account rather than publishing a fixed price. Your ad spend is paid directly to Google and is separate from what you pay me.

That depends on where you’re starting from, who you’re competing against and what you’re able to invest, which is why I won’t promise a ranking position or a percentage before seeing the site. What I will commit to is telling you honestly what looks achievable once I’ve audited it, and showing you what changed and what it did.

Get in touch and tell me about your business and what you’re trying to fix. I’ll look at your site and your current visibility, then come back to you with what I found and what I’d suggest doing about it. There’s no cost for that first look.

Let's grow your business

If you’re weighing up whether search is worth investing in — or you’ve tried it before and it didn’t work — tell me about your business and I’ll tell you straight what I think is possible. No pressure and no obligation, just a conversation about what you’re trying to achieve.
